They never take the future! They need to be in the present (present simple, or present perfect)

When you get home, call me – not LoM: “When you‘ll get home”!!!I’ll be in the office.I’m going to have a shower!

Time clauses in the past – Sequences narrating past actions

Before we moved to the south,Before we were transferred,Before moving to the south, we had lived in Madrid.we had been living in Madrid.we lived in Madrid.

When we had finished the meal, we continued our journey.
