SPEAKING: Teamwork OPs

An Oral Presentation or OP is when students prepare an oral performance and then present it in class. It can be done by one person, or by a team. As a teacher, I’m open to OPs so if you have any ideas, let me know.

OPs can be very different, depending on the people designing them, so I’m posting here some links to OPs some students did, in case you get inspired!

One of my favo(u)rite is this one by Rocío and Allan — though it is true Rocío speaks far too little, but she’s such a good TV show conductor! And the person interviewed was so interesting and articulate! Rocío invited her friend Allan, from the Music School, to class, so that he would tell us about his country, Trinidad & Tobago. The format Rocío chose /chous/ for the presentation was that of a TV interview show! We had to chop it into 8 parts, I think. Do watch it when you have time. You’ll learn a lot about this tiny and very rich country!
